How It Works
Once you arrive at our business location, go to the window. Here you will pay, sign our Release Form, and get your life jacket. All boat renters are required to take a life jacket regardless of age. Every adult must sign their own name! Adults must sign for minors. Children must be 5 years of age to participate in river activities. You will be given a wristband according to your rental. You will then be shuttled upriver. Your rental and paddles will be upriver where you are going. You only need to bring your cooler, life jacket, and beach items. Your journey will take you approximately 2 hours if you come straight down the river without stopping. You are welcome to stop and enjoy all of the beaches along the way! Your rental does not have to be returned until 7:00 PM!
We offer single and double kayaks. If you would like to bring a large cooler full of refreshments, you must rent a cooler tube to pull behind your kayak. We will provide you with string for tying it to your kayak. If you do not want to bring a large cooler, a really small one will fit on the back of the kayak. NO GLASS or STYROFOAM!!
Our canoes are made with two seats. A small child or cooler will fit in the middle.

You must arrive & be signed up before 2:00 PM.
You MUST return all rentals & exit the river by 7:00 PM!
At times we may be closed due to high water. This will be posted in advance on our website and our answering service.

Sunscreen (We don't want you to get RED!)
Waterproof Speaker (If you want to listen to music on your journey)
Hats, Sunglasses, and Towels
Beverages and Food (NO GLASS or STYROFOAM!!)
Waterproof Containers (For phones, cameras, etc.)
Water (To prevent dehydration. It's HOT outside!)
Please DO NOT bring your keys on the river! We offer a free key storage in the office. You must leave a photo ID to use this service. The person on the ID will be the only one to receive the keys back.

Can I reserve a kayak?
No. We do not reserve kayaks. We have plenty. They are rented on a first come, first serve basis.
The reason being that people will reserve them and never show up. Therefore, we held a kayak all day for nothing.
Can I bring my own kayak or canoe?
Yes. The price is the same. We must take our kayaks or canoe off of our trailers and load yours on.
Can you have someone drop you off upriver and park your vehicle in our parking lot until you return?
No. Our parking lot is private property and for our customers.
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes. We ask that you drink in moderation and responsibly. If you can't handle your liquor, please don't bring it!
We are a family owned and operated business. We strive for persons of all ages to enjoy the river! Please respect others.
Louisiana State Law prohibits any GLASS or STYROFOAM on the water!
What if it rains?
It's okay if it rains. You are already wet!
